Over the last 30 years I have assisted small businesses in the Ottawa area and have always enjoyed watching them grow. The juggling picture is a hobby, not an indication of my accounting techniques.

I truly believe in the power that positive results creates. I am totally dedicated to an enthusiastic, productive work environment and work with my clients to show them how this is beneficial.

When not on the job, I indulge in my other passions of skiing, cycling, wine tasting, working with community organizations, and acting goofy with my grandchildren (great toys).

I am a strong believer in giving back to the community. It is very rewarding both in the contacts community service creates and in the total satisfaction you receive in observing how your work benefits others. Several results over the past few years include:

• Recipient of the CMA Community Service Award in 2003 for meritorious community service.
• Raising $80,000 a year as a member of the Brian Smith Boys and Girls Club annual golf tournament.
• Raising $1.3million as Run Director for the Ottawa site for the CIBC CBCF Run for the Cure for breast cancer in 2005.
• Member of the Algonquin School of Business Marketing and Management Studies Advisory Board.
• Member of the Board of Directors of the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce.
• Chair of the Events Committee of the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce.
• Donation to 25 registered charities in the Ottawa area annually.
